I am sorry to say that the receptionists are rude and unhelpful. They are curt and offhand in the way they speak on the phone and do absolutely nothing to help in any way. They give the impression that it is an inconvenience to speak to patients. Very sad as they were always lovely in my experience, but things have taken a massive down turn in the past year or so. I wish us Oxted residents had a choice of surgeries but we don't. I only hope things improve.

The recent flu clinic ( 14th September 2019) was superbly run. The nursing and admin staff were all helpful and friendly and the clinic was very efficient. The waiting time to secure a routine doctor's appointment can be frustrating and the wait appears to be getting longer. I understand the reasons for this.

I have had the pleasure of encountering the staff of the prescriptions team as well as the reception for the clinic clerks and found them both extremely helpful and pleasant . Overall everyone at the Health Centre that I have met recently has been totally professional and has given of their very best from Dr Hill down. The Centre deserves at least a couple more stars in my opinion . Thank you very much

The doctors are good, but some of the receptionists/admin staff are rude and unhelpful, and as for trying to get an appointment, it's a disgrace. Yoiu have to ring 8am in the morning, when you eventually get through about 15-20 mins later after hanging on, you are asked "Is it Urgent?" I don't think anybody would phone for an appointment just to pass the time of day at the surgery , you have a medical problem, that's why you phone. If you ask direct at the reception desk for an appointment their reply is "there are no appointments" go to patient access, which when you do, there are no appointments available for at least three/four weeks. Terrible.Shame the surgery is let down by admin because the doctors, when you eventually get an appointment, are professional and deal with the problem you are there for. The reason I would not recommend this surgery is not because of the doctors but the other staff who obviously think they are in charge.

Has too many patients and not enough staff. Receptionists are rude and offhand. Go anywhere else if you can, this health centre is barely functioning.
